Soy Garlic Chicken
This Garlic Soy Chicken proves how a simple Asian inspired glaze can turn simple chicken thighs into delicious, super flavorful, tender chicken thighs that will make your meal extra tasty!
Season 4 chicken thigh fillets with salt and pepper.
Mix the marinade: cloves of garlic, grated onion, sake, mirin, soy sauce.
Marinade for 30 minutes
Strain your chicken from the marinade but leave the marinade aside.
Heat your oil in a pan, then pan-fry your chicken skin side down first. Once the skin is nicely brown, flip and cook the other side for about 7-10 minutes.
Once the chicken is cooked through, remove the oil and then add your marinade into the pan. Let the marinade simmer in a medium low heat. While its simmering, use a spoon and coat the top of the chicken with the sauce.
Simmer until the sauce reduced and slightly thickens.
