Ingredients

500-700g Black Lapu Lapu or Golden Pompano

Fresh Ginger, thinly sliced

2 onion leeks, sliced diagonally
1 tsp rock salt
1/2 cup vegetable or olive oil

1/8 cup soy sauce
1/8 cup water
1/4 tbsp sugar
leeks and fried garlic for garnish
Sauce
Directions
Divide ginger into 2 equal parts and the onion leeks into 3 equal parts
Stuff the fish with 1 part of the ginger and 2 parts of the onion leeks
Rub salt to fish, inside and out
Mix Sauce Ingredients and pour over fish.
Top with remaining ginger slices
Steam on medium heat for 20 minutes
In a separate pan, heat oil for 2-3 minutes. Add remaining onion leeks.
Transfer the steamed fish into a serving fish platter (elongated if possible), then slowly pour hot oil mixture over the fish.
Garnish with onion leeks and fried garlic.
Serve immediately! 🤗
